Hi there!

I am a singer living in Cyprus from now until at least January. I am looking to create a band with FUNK/SOUL repertoire and perhaps even to play funk soul covers for gigs. I need solid cooperations so I only request serious answers. =)

I am also interested in finding information on places to have band rehearsals. I live in Paralimni but can easily go to Nicosia or Larnaca for practise.

Please inform me asap.

I must hear all musicians before making up my mind and have eventual band sessions so we hear how we sound together.

No beginners wanted.

U can contact to Kafenes, he is a gr8 singer with long years experience..

Limassol do have really good musicians. There is a very good funk/soul band led by bassist Evis Michaelides. They often play on Saturday night at Jazzy B (tel. 99 605 502 - Kyriacos). Check with him.

Evis studied at Berklee. They do have really good guitar player/drummer(s) and sax player. The keyboard guy is good but not at the same level.
