Hi All, I wanted to start a forum where we can swap PS3 games amongst each other and chat about everything to do about PS3's.
I just bought myself a PS3 with an extra controller and bluetooth remote and Resistance: Fall of Man(game).I found that Germanos was the cheapest shop for the PS3 as they have it for 343cyp pounds. That comes with one wireless controller and the usual wires. I hooked it up with a HDMI lead to my Pioneer 50" plasma and it looks amaaaaazing. Today i will but Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07. So far i have had no problems with my PS3 and i have played online also which was great fun. Does anyone have any idea if there is anyway to play region 1 DVDs on the PS3? |

Lucky you! I had the Xbox360 but sold it after a month. I thought it was a let down. Not so eager to rush out to get PS3 now after my 360 experience! Other then Project Gotham Racing and Call of Duty there wasn't anything decent for my liking. I'd rather wait and buy it cheaper at a later date when theres loads of games to choose from. It does look tempting though, I like the Wii too though I'm not sure how long the enjoyment of running around my TV pretending to hit things which aren't really there would last...
Let me know how you get on with it in about a month or two when the novelty runs out. |

That good is it? I have a feeling we wont be getting a reply from djsteel for a loooooong time... |

Because the demand for the new PS3 was so great,the european version had to be posponed from November 06 until last Frday the 23rd March 07,and the UK only got 200,000,so all were pre-booked and virtualy sold out by Friday evening...............alas insteps the "HIGHLANDER".............I new from inside info that Sony had subcontracted the manufacture of the PS3 to two independant electronics manufacturers one in China and one in the states,being a smart cookie i approached one of them and have hopefuly all going well secuired a licence for Cyprus and the UK for the (UK PAL SPEC EUROPEAN VERSION) PS3 and because there is no middle man i will be pumping them out at £325cy,the rrp price for Cyprus is £350cy and the UK at £400 as there rrp is £425.Incidently the retail profit margain on these macines is only 12%.

| Aha!i have proved turkish_cypriot wrong.......I have replied!Muaaahahahaha! Well i agree the longer you wait the cheaper the Ps3 will get and the more games will be available. I'm very happy with it so far, the graphics are amaaaaaazing and the game play is also great the only con is that its not multiregion.If anyone wants to talk more about the PS3 feel welcome to add me on msn messenger (djsteel3000@msn.com).
