Clearly not General Topic material, 20 people viewed without a single responce...let's try again...wasn't sure how this forum thing worked...anway...I'm posting it again in the correct place...
Hi there,
Just posted a message on the "Meeting up in Nicosia" post earlier in the week. I reckon it might get lost in the mix so here's another...
I'm a 28yo British guy (chinese origin) here on business for a month in Nicosia? Have been here for a week already.
Any expats want to go for a drink/food/chat/wonder aroung the city?
Any Cypriots want to show me the beauty of Nicosia? (I can't find it)
Not wanting to be discriminatory, any other nationalities want to meet up?
Am up for anything afterwork this week (going back to London for the weekend then back again in Nicosia for a fortnight).

n.b. strange Sri Lankan dude tried to hold my hand and take me to the park the other night and invited himself to my flat, needless to say I ran as fast as I could the other way....don't really want to meet up with any weirdos
and the chinese student here look at me weird?? what's up with that? |

I got 2 heads yeah, but in the normal places...upstair and downstairs....I think I'm normal anyways
I think it's cos they look at me then think..."Chinese".....but I don't look like them...so it confuses them.....
plus I can't speak mandarin so that messes up with their heads even more.... |

Nicosia is so cosmopolitan, I am sure you will find a drinking/eating companion soon! Looks have nothing to do with it!
