Hi.
Does anybody know of a good nightclub anywhere on the island that plays alternative / indie / rock music? It seems that most clubs everywhere in Cyprus are aimed at the tourists and are, therefore, cheesy disco music, are karaoke themed or, if they do play any rock music, it is old 80s stuff and it's slotted in between a lot of very bad RnB music.
I really hope this doesn't sound pretentious - we've lived in Limassol for six months now and are really struggling to find a club we would want to go to. I've looked into going to Agia Napa, but it seems to be the same there - just more choice of the same type of thing. So, if anyone knows of anywhere, please could you let me know?

I thought the Night Clubs were for something else. How silly of me, I must have a one track mind 
There are about two dozen Night Clubs on the main road from Nicosia to Morphou. We have far too many Night Clubs, Casinos and Betting Shops in TRNC, the country is really going down the drain.

Savino rock bar, in larnaca plays the kinda music you are asking for. Its at foinikoudes, easy to find if you just mention its name.
And rock garden at ayia napa is an even better choice. Its bigger and has more of a rock theme, the atmoshere is very appropriate. |
