You can not have a reconstruction policy when the natives are killing each other on a daily basis. The killings are not done by the Americans or the British but by the Iraqis , or insurgents on a mission of jihad . Personally I think the quickest these people get to heavens and meet their creator the better for everyone in Iraq.
Religion the enemy of the people the poison that drives people to murder .

Capital punishment has no place in modern society
Far better to have left him to ponder and rot of natural causes in a prison cell. Hanging was too quick for him

This was not a capital punishment or an execution, it was a murder.
They murdered him in order to silence him.
If they had sent them to the Hague for a fair trial all his dirty dealings with Rumsfeld would have come to light.

Maybe because I don't want to endure this kind of humiliation:

No government should have the authority to determine whether someone should live or die. I prefer a system of hard labor for criminals. At least that way they're repaying their debt to society for housing and feeding them.

My opinion, anyway.

Wrong way to get rid of Saddam. They gave him the easy way out. 1 day of suffering doesnt amount to the familys he destroyed. I think that he was hung also because sooner or later his beliefs would of changed and he would start giving up all political leaders and presidents that all accepted his corrupt money he offered them.

It was Nicolae Ceauşescu.

And killing is wrong, no matter who sanctions it and what the reason is.
