Cyprus beats Hungary 2-1, Bulgaria beats Latvia 2-0 in Cyprus tournament

Yiannis Okkas and Yiasemis Yiasemakis each scored as Cyprus beat Hungary 2-1 in the four-nation Cyprus tournament on Tuesday.

Earlier, Bulgaria beat Latvia 2-0.

In Wednesday's final, Cyprus will play Bulgaria, and Latvia and Hungary will meet for third place.

Cyprus scored first in the 18th minute after Okkas chased a seemingly lost ball and set up Yiasemakis for the goal.

Hungary reacted four minutes later when Bela Balogh's header hit the post. Csaba Csizmadia sent the rebound over the bar at close range.

Okkas grabbed the second for Cyprus, and Hungary pulled one back in the 89th through Tamas Priskin.

Bulgaria went ahead in the 14th minute on an own-goal from Latvia's Pavels Surnins, who made a poor goalmouth clearance.

Hristo Iovov added the second in the 33rd, sending a low shot past Latvia goalkeeper Aleksandrs Kolinko.

Latvia squandered a clear first-half chance when an unmarked Maris Verpakovskis shot over the bar at close range.

Cool! Hungary is traditionally a good team! Did they play with their full power? I hope Cyprus will continue to do well, especially in the official games! Who knows, maybe we can even qualify for the next Euro Laughing
