| Is anybody else annoyed at Cablenet's removal of Starworld, Starmovies and UK TV from Cablenet? |

If they keep reducing the quality of their service there won't even be 15 left.
It was actually a very good service, with good channels and with no need for a dish or decoder, and each TV in the house could have a different channel on, and all at very affordable price. Buy they started cuting corners i guess to save money . |

| Erm, I would take a wild guess and say that they are trying to upgrade their packages to compete with the big boys. I would also guess that there may be some licensing issues with some channels. I could be wrong on this... |

| My guess is that they replaced those channels with channels with cheaper license fees. Which is something you don't do if you are trying to make a name for yourself. |

I have a feeling that those channels will be replaced by better channels.
Saying that, the former owner didn't exactly do things properly. The new owners may have realised something was wrong so they may be trying to resolve some issues.
Please note, its all speculation.
Another possibility is that if these programs belong to the Sky group, they are getting very ratty lately, stopping broadcasting of their channels by other companies.. |
