I think admin was referring to the number of members who at one time were placing their website address in the signature area.

And admin wanted these persons to set them up as a website link in their profile ( thats when you'll get the www button visible under your posts )

I enabled "display email" but to no avail so I then moved it in my signature... this software seems buggy. Confused

RichardB is correct....The admin warning was for people who displayed their website address in their signatures which appeared under their every post...
If the member does have a website and enters the link to it in their profile, the "www" button appears under every post..
This option is for website links not email addresses..

Hi GR
Your link is your web address (this button triggers the browser not the mail client) Wink

Hello,

What iceman said is correct.

There is another button for the email address but I have it disabled to protect the email addresses of our members from email harvesters and spammers.

Thanks

Sony8943, you need a certain amount of quality posts before you can send PMs out. Don't know the amount though!
