Christofias Phd?

I have a question. Christofias site says he was sent to the USSR by the communist party in mid-1969 to study at unversity. In April 1974 he was back.
Can someone tell me how this person got a Bachelors degree, Masters degree and a Phd in 4 years and 8 months? |

You can submit for a Ph.D. as soon as you have 3 peer-reviewed publications .... (I had mine within 2 years, but chose to complete my research over three years .... as the lab was fun  ).
So perhaps he had 3 publications within 8 months (  ), or ... he completed his Ph.D. under supervision from a distance.
Did he get a separate Masters or was the Masters converted to a Ph.D. ?
I thought he was a medic anyway  |

When I came to the UK in 1961 (here I go again ) I begun my studies in earnest , 47 years later and apart from some vague accountancy qualification , I'm still waiting for my batchelors degree , until that is a few weeks ago.
Got an email , asking me if I wanted a batchelors degree , any subject , I chose 12 and bingo my degree is proudly displayed in my office ! I wonder if its real !! Thinking of going for the Masters next ! |
