Yes they do

Commentary is obviously in Greek but if you don't understand turn the sound down on the tv and switch the radio on to bfbs if you can get it in your area ~ then you can watch the TV and listen to the commentary in English.

The alternative would be to go to a sports bar with Sky and ask them to put it on and have a nice cool beer while you are watching it .

Of course you could invest in a sky box and dish yourself and watch it in the comfort of your own home Very Happy and the wife can watch Constipation Street and Erie Dale too Rolling Eyes Sad

thanks bill. i have sky but i dont think they show f1 races as it is usually shown on itv and unfortunately i dont get that channel, so the only option was to watch it on normal greek tv (unless i go to a pub ofcourse). do you know which channel they show it on?

Yes, I get itv & bbc free view through sky, although I don't have sky, I'm on that satellite frequency. Beats german tv after a while Neutral

The mrs reckons I need a big one to keep her happy Crying or Very sad

Hey Cyprus 123 ~ were abouts are you in Cyprus Confused

It sounds like you have your dish focused on Astra 2b and the terrestrial channels are transmitted on Astra 2d ~ depending were you are located you may need a bigger dish and even then it's not always 100% as Cyprus is right on the very edge of the Astra 2d footprint ~ a little rain and puff your signals gone ~ just when you are getting to the climax Sad .

It would be interesting to know where you are located though.

Trouble is if you have a big one there's always the problem of finding somewhere to put it ~ erecting it in the garden could upset the neighbours as could banging it on the roof Wink

I'm only a girlie, but itv, bbc & film 4 can be viewed free view through sky. I cant get channel 4 or 5, but defo the above, just thru my digi box and dish. I have no access to sky, so all the sky channels are blocked. I believe bbc, the itv went free view about 18 months ago. That's how long I've had them. I just got my local media shop to point to astra 2, 28.8E and hey presto! English tv.
