| Hey im a democrat too but i would like to see Obama as president, Hillary is horrible and her husband is much worse, ugh can hear free trade? Alot of small towns and citys are decline beacuse businesses are leaving the U.S, If he didnt issue free trade we wouldn't have to be competing with China and the rest of the globe on a much larger scale. |

Are you saying that If it weren't for Clinton, then the US would not have to compete with the Chinese? |

| no i said not as in a large scale (how the hell are you supposed to stop china?), one thing Hillary Clinton promised New York state (mostly upstate) was more jobs. Upstate New York is declining whole citys are like ghost towns, within the first 3 years Hillary was a senator for new york, Central New York lost 100,000 jobs, 60,000 alone went to china. This problem is not just New York but in other states as well, so i look at it like this if she cant handle being a senator for New York, then she is unfit to be president of the United States. |

Ah, but NY's economy is expanding. http://www.usatoday.com/money/economy/2008-03-04-local-differences_N.htm There's plenty of other stuff going on if people gear themselves up to take advantage of it. There's bigger and better stuff going on here right now.
If you try to look for something negative, you'll find it - Hildog is no exception. While that was a stupid promise to make because most of the factors are beyond her control, she's done pretty well for NY on the whole. And I think she's learned her lesson about hot-dogging - something Obama can't claim.
Funny, after an initially unprofessional barb about the media coddling Blobama, SNL reams them over it and now they're starting to really ask him questions.
"Come on guys - I've answered, like, 8 questions!" http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/03/03/726268.aspx This just isn't going to cut it. Obama's entire platform is based on platitudes that he cannot back up, and a friendly media that treated him like a rock star. Now that the rock star treatment is gone, so goes half of his appeal. He's nothing more than hot air. Not to mention that the worst possible thing for any country in a pickle is to replac one tin god with another. But he dances nice on those TV shows, eh? Good way to keep everybody's eye off the ball. |
