Automatic weapons are for the army and only they do training with them  It is illegal to have a non army automatic weapon in Cyprus. |

Why? Where is the sport in shooting an automatic weapon? |

I'm a replica fan. However, I want to be able to take target practise on my acre of Cyprus in the country, so I want something that will shoot (not bullets). But I also want something that looks like a real gun (I'm a kid at heart).
I've found a replica western Carbine air rifle that fires .177 pellets that I've fallen in love with. I have also found a Berreta automatic replical that fires .177 pellets and a simliar 357 Magnum.
I really want to buy these and take them to Cyprus when I move there.
The question is, will I have problems getting a license?
Anyone have any idea?
