Functional Federation was agreed by the two representative debators prior to 1974 but was rejected by Makarios. You would bend over backwards Kifeas if it was offered to us again. Basically it meant the establishments of small cantons without the need to move people.

Bananiot, are you saying that, had Makarios accepted this "functional" federation demand of the Turks before 1974; the coup, the Turkish invasion and occupation, and all the subsequent further demands of the Turkish side -as we observe them since then; would not have taken place?

İ knew it that we don't use the 60 constitution but it is not fair to say on your comment'' you guys have really handed it all to Turkey on a silver platter ........'' We all know that Cyprus Constitution was finished at 1963 .
You also well knowing at 63 Turkish army wasn't in Cyprus .We have to tell truths .... How we were separated before 74.We mustn't afraid from it .We must also say how the Turkey came to Cyprus. We must also say how many people lost their life's and their places from both sides .
Why those troubles started and how we can solve it out by not hurting anybody or causing very little damage for both sides people .

Turkey were very quick to start bombing and Napalming Cypriots shortly after the TC-initiated riots of December 1963 ....

OrPh dear, what 1063 December riots do you talk about? You have no idea. Pray tell us. I , personally, am very interested.

WHAT RIOTS?

Your sources can only be incorrect. After the Tahta -Kale shootings I personally witnessed everything that happened till hell broke loose.

What a surrender! Sleep well. Dream up a December 1963 riot for me. I am indeed intrigued. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Well I just watched the the speech Christofias made after the meeting between himself and Mr Talat. Sounds positive, but was a speech of no essence really. They do look good together although Mr Talat appeared a bit anxious looking at his body language.

Okay boys we're couting on you.

Hey, we all like to have a 'go' at each other. Each side feels that they have the moral high ground. It's akin to an unstoppable force going against an immovable object..... However, philosophic arguments regarding Cyprus as 'who is to blame' tend to go WAY beyond the abstract...
