Of coursed we refused because we believe in a true democracy as it exists in all other countries in the world, and not what a minority and some outsiders wanted to impose on us to serve their own interests.
My question is if the Turks think that democracy should be different than the way we understand it and the way it is applied in the rest of the word, and instead of equality among citizens to have some "political equality" between the ethnic groups that make up a state, then why didn't they apply this kind of democracy in Turkey and the "trnc"? Why don't the Kurds in Turkey have "political equality", and why don't the GCs in the "trnc" have it?
This is case of war Bananiot. They are our enemies and they are trying to take away our rights and gain on our loss. Their demands are totally unjustified and have nothing to do with democracy or any other accepted principle, and everything to do with the "we have the big guns and we will force what we want on you".

I'm glad you made the point about decency. This is what you lacked for your compatriots hence the mess you're in. Lets hope you have learnt your lesson.

And when was that? When they oppressed us for 3 centuries, or when they collaborated with the colonialists to again refuse to us our freedom and self-determination?
The lesson I learned is that we should never make any compromises on principles such as democracy and human rights.
A real solution is to finally, after all these centuries of foreign rule of our island, to be given our freedom. Thats the solution and that is what we are fighting for. |

Well I watched this with a neutral British person and they thought Talat had Attention Deficit Disorder as he kept biting his lips and shifting his eyes as though waiting for his turn, and not really caring what the person before (Christofias) had to say .... |

Hey. Tzimis(Christofias) is better looking and he have hair. Talat is an ugly Turk like TPap was an ugly mongolian (tourkosporos) serpent (apogonos kourkouta) even uglier than Talat, maybe this is a sign on where the fault is?  |
