Carp fishing?...thats not fishing...

How about trout fishing?

I do a lot of that, both spinning and fly, depending on the area...nothing like wading the streams, crack of dawn, watching the rainbow jumping for insects...man this is what its all about...

I aslo like salt water fishing, especially surf and rock beaches, going for salmon, snapper and sharks...not fond of boat fishing though...

PS...just got back for the weekend and heading out Monday...not fishing that is Laughing

Oh no I'm not one of these "bivvy boys" with their stout rods and bite alarms spending nights away from the family with their mates and beer!

I prefer a more general, traditional form of fishing, preferably with a float if conditions allow but I have caught many, many carp over the years but always on light tackle. Very rewarding to bring a double figure carp to the net on on fine line and tiny (barbless) hooks.

Carp are a lovely and attractive fish, probably my favourite.
