why do cypriot guys prefer eastern european girls?

many cyp men marry east girls. mostly from ukraine, russia. i know many families. girls came over to work here, they escaped from their poor places.
but on another hand, there r many russians living on their own villas and even without morgages. i know no one case then cyp marry such ladies. |

Could this be why Eastern Europeans are preferred ??
