I was joking - because most tartans have a "name" like macDonald etc I made up a Cypriot name for fun!!! Are you a Scot?

The kilt was derived from the foustanella of course so hence the attraction. 
The Stewart Tartan is not one of the most desirable if you were going by appearances. Why don't you browse a Tartan pattern's link, or start with the Scot's Mag:

Or .... do like Americans and design your own Tartan. |

I do not know why though I would never wear Foustanela. |

Well you obviously like black and foustanella is white 
..... also if you are size 40-42" waist, then foustanella would not look so nice! |
