Little Prick said "Cyprus near Greece". His knowledge of geography is nearly as bad as his driving. £80k for a fast tractor with lousy tyres. It's made for the oil rich Gulf countries, what a waste of BBC licence fees, Clarkson and his boy racers should be made to drive Austin Allegros for the rest of their petrol guzzling lives.

Yep have to agree with Jerry...Top Gear started out in 1977 giving advice and reviews of new cars and ideas and a view of motorsport.. now its just 3 public school wonkers driving cars we will never be able to afford or run, in mind dazzling completely pointless competitions against jet fighters or blowing up caravans..and flaying a supercar around an empty disused airfield - of course we all have roads like that to drive on. Evil or Very Mad
There are enough crap drivers in Cyprus already without coming here in a chelsea tractor and trying to kill yourself.. great example in a country with an appaling accident rate. Rolling Eyes

Clarkson does come out with some beauties sometimes, one that made me choke on my dinner once was the fate that he hoped would befall the "joy rider" who might steal a particular car he admired.

He said "May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your underpants" Classic! Laughing Laughing Laughing

But why did he feel the need to say it was something somewhere (Greece or any other place)? Since Cyprus is a country and not part of any other country the correct expression should be: Cyprus, a country in the southeast mediterranean or southeast europe. Wink

Anyway, I think it's an entertaining show overall. Smile

Entertaining yes, like a night club act, and it is directed for that end. But I have to agree about what they show being totally unreachable for most and shown in unrealistic settings.

And that constant refrain "this is fast". Who needs fast! Only once did they praise comfort.

The show is excellent!!! It has evolved from a fact based info pool for the above average car buyer, to an entertaining, tongue in cheek reason to stay in on a Sunday night.

The competitions they hold between man and vehicle and any combination in between are totally brilliant. They may not baffle us with one-sided car purchasing advice, as that is not what the programme intends.
It is not an award winning programme for nothing. It's not everyones cup of tea. But nor is Holby friggin' City.

Cyprus doesn't seem as bad as you claim and this chart is not even global...
