Students of Greek as well as native speakers are invited to join us at the new Greek language book club hosted by Polyphono Cultural Center.

The group is composed primarily of advanced students of Greek-- people who are learning Greek as a foreign language, and who have moved to Cyprus from overseas.

I'm an American now living in Nicosia, and I'll be organizing the group.

Our first selection is "Talnko" by Vasilis Alexakis. We will discuss (in Greek) the first half of this short novel on Wednesday, May 21st, and we will conclude with the second half on Wednesday, June 4th. We will meet at 6pm in the center of Nicosia, and will probably chat about the book until we run out of things to say!

For more info, check out www.polyphono.org, or email me at info @ polyphono .org. Or just leave a note here in the forum.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Ah, I see-- Sorry I didn't understand.

Not looking for teachers, just inviting anyone who likes to read literature and discuss it with friends. Not a class, just a club.
