I thought my post made it clear that there was no comparison...
Although when you see a picture like this it looks so appealing. You then realise this was taken on a sunny mid-winter's day when no-one was foolhardy enough to be on the beach. Go there today when it's 30 degrees and it'll be full of folk like these...

Actually going back some years i went to southend beach on a nice day like today, i rented some deck chairs and was sitting happily when the drunk idiot next to me started to vomit hence i made a sharp exit, have not been back since.  |
