Anorthosis defeated Dinamo Minks 1-0 (2-1 agg) at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia to advance to the 2nd Qualifying round of the Champions League.
The all important goal was scored by Samaras in the 71st minute.
Anorthosis now face a mouth watering tie against Turkish team Trabzonspor in the next round.
My detailed match report will appear in next Thursday's Parikiaki Newspaper.
Copies are available from all good newsagents (and probably some bad ones as well) for a ridiculasly low price of 50p. |

| Anorthosis's president made a suggestion to the Turkish team to do not allow any Turkish funs in Cyp or any GC funs in Tur so that there is no danger of any bad incidents happening. |

Im sure UEFA will list this as a high risk catogary game and will make sure security measures are in place for both games. |

They should play in a neutral country me thinks... Malta would be a good choice... |

There r 2 matchrs to b played. Do u think that both matches will be played at a neutral venue?
I dont think this will happen. Recently, Israeli teams were forced to play their home matches outside of their countries due to safty reasons. Some of these games were played in Cyprus! |
