I will probably be laughed at for this but here goes??
I was wondering if there are any groups or societies or clubs in Cyprus specifically for people with an interest in the paranormal?
I know in the UK this issue is quite big, with smash hit series like livingtv;s most haunted, there are paranormal investigative clubs in every village and town across the country.
I have had a look in Cyprus but cannot find anything.
If there isnt one, would there be a sufficient amount of interest in setting one up, this is an area i am keen to explore on an island steeped in so much history....
What do you people think? Am curious to find out, i feel something like this is seriously lacking here..
ALSO..
How about any metal detecting clubs? I have a degree in archaeology and find metal detecting an excellent hobby. In the Uk its very popular, and i got into it through my dad, who lives on the island now but doesnt practice anymore as there are no groups to do it with??
LET ME KNOW!!!! |

To retired2cyprus.
If you knew anything of the subject you would understand that the Church has nothing to do with the investigations.
The paranormal or 'supernatural' as its termed is the investigation into phenomena or situations which reason or man made logic cannot comprehend.
Thats where we try to use science to explain our findings.
Still i dont suppose you would understand science, as religion is always chosen over it.
LOOK AT YOUR FLAG.
It says it all. |

| djTrax I am into metal detecting in a big way and have been so for the last 20 years come September this year. Infact I run a group detectorists numbering 120 members over here detecting on fields from the River Humber up to the River Tweed on a weekly basis. |

"paranormal" huh?
Well, the so-called "RoC" is the prefect place for "paranormal" activities but if you find anything not of paranormal please let us know. |

I’d like to join a paranormal society and nominate Eric as a paranormal entity worthy of research… ie: Is Eric some kind of humanoid tapping away at a keyboard somewhere in the outback of England, or a wild hare on heat, infested with ticks and roaming around in the buffer zone? |
