Admin,
What is your opinion on the Cyprus issue. Can you see a lasting and meaningful settlement? If so how and when?
Your comments would be much apreciated. |

HA!
please allow me to answer on admin's behalf: The Honest Answer....
Cyprus is Greek, was Greek and always will be 100% Greek. Kick out the Turks and install a Greek government and pick and choose the EU regulations and guidances that are good for us on a pragmatic basis.
The End. |

pumpernickle,
That is what most Greeks desire and dream. Admin will hopefully be more realistic and give a meaningful answer as opposed to wishful one. |

Admin - I am afraid to beat the same drum and scratch the same record for fear of an avalanche of yawns - is utterly Greek and in hock to the South. Simple as.
Fact is, I have been warned for saying 'there is no cyprus problem' in the cyprus problem forum. Which is interesting, seeing as that is a valid view, and one shared by many brits and turks. Not that I give a sh1t what they think of me and my views.
So I've kinda gone away with the impression that the Lima-Gestapoll is on my case and hankering for a banning! |

pumpernickle,
I agree with you that "there is no Cyprus problem". Not a big one anyway. It is our Greek neighbours that blow it out of all proportion. |

Lysi,
How on earth are we going to have peace and security in the north if we give you all your land back. How do you propose on doing this? Is it not yet obvious to you that the only sensible solution is the Annan plan. You will be compensated and laugh all the way to the bank.
The way you want it is simply not possible. Just answer me this simple question. There are around 60000 TC's in Kyrenia, do you expect all these people to vacate the property their all living in and the GC's to move back in? |

| no mrfromng, everyone goes back to their own land, and the ones that never lived in Cyprus after 1974 either go home, or ask the TC or GC that live under that land if they can rent from them, if that doesnt work out, then its Turkeys problem in terms of expenses to do what they feel to the illegal immigrants they brought to Cyprus. Maybe build the honest working people homes that are the British bases right now. Remember they took a shot "intervening for 32 years", knowing they would face repercussions from this, now its judgement time and closing your eyes to the problem still, is not going to disappear. |
