For good souvalki i recommend Stefanos in ipsonas (think thats how you spell it)

I love Loxandras, but for the purpose of helping out our fellow forum members I'll rearrange your list
It's actually... Taurus for steak (though that's questionable, I prefer Scottis) Tokyo for Japanese, though the one by the roundabout does excellent fishboat all you can eat teriyaki, Loxandras for Souvlaki and I guess Pasalimani for fish, but seriously the best fish i have EVER had was at a fish tavern if you are going up on the ajax road from the seaside, pass ajax hotel, first fish restaurant on your right, amaazzzinngggg fish... best I've had in Cyprus. |

There are many good non touristic restaurants at villages surrounding limassol. If you are interested about those let me know and I will give you another list  |

I can't remember :S It's a very small restaurant... if you come up from the seaside road towards the Ajax hotel (the road that leads directly onto it, between the Laiki and Bank of Cy, its the first restaurant on ur right hand side. It looks like a house, you'll have to keep an eye out... but they had excellent food, octupus, calamari, even the fries were great... highly recommend it

I found the Fish taverna by the Ajax very good but once again I can't remember the name. However if you like Grills then Smokey Joes opposite side of the road is excellent. Generous helpings of food cooked to your liking. Mixed Grills, Steaks and Liver all recommended.
In Ankara Street Mikri Maria does Tsipourra (Fish) grilled to perfection, and her meze should definitely be tried. This is home made food and you feel you are in a private house's dining room. On the walls are some very old musical instruments from around the world. Sometimes Afroulla will entertain with her accordion or guitar.
My other favourite place is Kamares Taverna in Lofou village well worth the drive - even better if you can find someone to do the driving. Friday night is music night, and tables should be booked for Friday, and Saturday evenings, and sometimes Sunday lunchtimes - phone first it is a long way to drive and be unlucky, but don't despair because Costas at Lofou Taverna is very good as well. |
