| Because this is the Cyprus Forum and we seem to be forgetting it with all this cricket and premiership malarky. |

DT.,cricket is the gentlemens' game, whereas, football & rugby are games for ruffians.
Traditionally,I support England,New Zealand,& South Africa, especially when they're playing cricket against the Aussie cricket squad.

One thing I never understood regarding Cricket and football:
Cricket is played in the summer with participants in long trousers and jumpers
Football is played in the winter with participants wearing shorts and T shirts
I don't get it.................
Tess (who plays and watches neither sport - or any sport come to that )!!! |

Tess, you don't know what you are missing girl! All those male tight bottoms on top of lovely legs. Phew!
Get yourself along to any football or rugby pitch this weekend and you will see what I mean, I promise you will not be disappointed!
I love watching cricket -especially when England are winning. It is better going to the ground though - you get all the atmosphere then!

Actually there IS one sport I am familiar with............Hurling.
Used to participate all the time - round the back of O'Neills pub after too many pints of guinness!!!!!! |
