greetings to all dwellers in Cyprus today!
I have a question for our cypriot forumites...we have been invited to a village wedding by our neighbours. I understand that it is the custom to put money into an envelope for the happy couple..
Now so as to not embarrass our hosts our ourselves can you advise how much should one put in?

| €30 plus, depending on the friendship. You could get away with €20 if you are really short. |

If you were going to buy them a gift, how much would you have spent?? £20 - £30, if so just put that euro equivilent in the envelope.
Depends how close you are, if you are really good buddies means more, like 50 euroes, if just know then then 30 euros should suffice.
its totally up to you. |
