I feel there is a need for not only a British Soccer Academy, BUT also a Soccer Development School for children who want to improve their ability, as the old saying goes you cannot run before you can walk,
very often children just want to enjoy their football (soccer), and I feel that through enjoyment brings improvement in their abilities and skill levels,
This has been achieved at my Soccer Schools in the UK with great success, and I am looking to develop things in Cyprus in the very near future,
any feedback would be much appreciated........

| A Soccer Academy sounds like a great business venture here in Cyprus, but ensure you tap into the thousands of eager young Cypriots too with a more neutral business name like “International Soccer Academy” or something, instead of “British Soccer Academy” otherwise it’ll come across as a expat-only business, in which case I don’t know if the market will be large enough. |

Good point, considering the performance of the British squads at the moment I would do likewise.
Another great venture would be to bring back from Cyprus some of these mini floodlit, mini pitches that are all over the island. Great fun to play on if a little hot in the summer. |

Yes thats most definately in my plans that it is a Soccer Academy / Development School that is open to all regardless of race, but yes you are right about how the name sounds and how it comes across.

| Terry, good luck with this venture. Its an untapped market at the moment, so you should have a good start in this. Hope its successful, not only for yourself, but for the kids that will train and learn from you and your staff. |
