Dear Admin
Please see the 'Cyprus Problem' thread I started under CyProb, following the deletion of a numbre of offensive mails. A number of people have suggested that rather than just deleting them, they are moved to a new section called the Sin Bin.
I am not sure how this would work out: there could be totally unrelated posts in there and will Forum members be allowed to Reply to items moved to the Sin Bin?
It might be worth experimenting with to see if it is a viable option. It could become the most popular Section in the Forum!!!

| It's a handful of regulars who throw insults at each other, and the unrelated threads don't really matter since it's generally the same insults whatever the thread is. Give them their own place where they can insult each other - it may make them more inventive if they have a place they can call their own. |

Hello,
This is not a problem technically.
What should be avoided is a forum section dedicated to swearing even if such section could be popular.
The Sin Bin could be read only and accessible only by the members that want to view it. If a complain is received for any post in the Sin Bin then the offending post will be removed. The moderators and the admin reserve the right to delete a post directly. The Sin Bin does not waive the obligation of members to respect the rules.
I am open to more suggestions regarding this proposal.
Thank you. |

I think the deleted posts should stay in the Sin Bin for people who want to read them, but nobody should be able to reply to these posts,as that will create a free for all personal insult section which I don't believe is desirable.
When a post is deleted in a normal thread, there should be an indication(if technically possible) that a post by so and so, for such and such reason ,has been sent to Sin Bin...Then people can choose to go and read it or ignore it.
Thanks

Or as simply as, when someone raises the question on any thread, "what the F**K happened to my post", then we'll all know what has happened to it, and where to find it......in the SIN BIN: |

Interesting But if somebody writes something bad about me and it goes in the Sin Bin then the insult can not remain without answer!! I will have to make a new thread in the normal forums to reply to it. Then that thread will be send to the Sin Bin. We will reply to the Sin Bin with the mods as the proxies |

You can PM your own insults back at the other person...keep it private. |

| ...and for every post put in the sin bin the offender has to post a humorous joke about fluffy bunny rabbits or lovey dovey stuff to show they're a nice person underneath it all! Certain people will find this particularly challenging. |

Certain people.
It will kill most people on the forum to smile for God sake, let alone tell a joke. |

Exactly - can you think of a better punishment? |
