When I made the same mistake about miltiades whose user name was familiar with another person I was arguing with - I realised my mistage and openly apologised! The above comment does nothing to remedy the wrong you did "young man"! You better start growing up and apologise for the mistake you had made by insulting me and my intelligence based on an argument you had with another person!

You agreed with Miltiades in p.9 when he called me ignorant...

He said:

"Listen ignoramus , Cyprus is NOT a state but...If you want to post rubbish start a new thread aptly titled BULLSHIT."

And you said:

"Well said Miltiades - my exact sentiments on this subject! "

Now, by transitivity, you did insulted me, right?

Now, if someone else is using your forum name, then indeed i apologize. But if not, then my criticism is valid and no apologies to you...

Are you the dork who thought was a sea gull and jumped off the edge of the cliff in Paphos? Who discovered me as a retired guy living in London? What is the retirement age where you live?

What is it with people in this forum? Who gives a toss what you or anyone else thinks about other people's professions or who they really are. This is a public forum with usernames and passwords... REMEMBER?

In any case that issue has already been addressed in another post, so be a good boy now and go search the threads in this forum before you come up with the next set of nonsensical rantings from the void!

Again this famous word "nonsensical"? You declared youselve as a pilot. You sent also a picture, then is quoted that your are 50 years old living in London, as far i know pilots retiring on 45 yo. Secondly a post by someone else explained to you that no active pilot in a serious airforces of the world would posted what you have posted in all forums here because this is not the mentality of an educated and exprienced pilots Worldwide. Now you are coming back requesting what? May be is better for you to continiue to see your movies and place yourselve in the role of the " good boy":For us there is no way to convist us because we have also our story which maybe surprise you.

Listen, I really do not care who or what you are and I would not care any less about what you think. Do not bring others into your arguments either.

I did not declare myself as pilot as you put it but it is in in my profile just like it is in every bigOz username I have been using in many UK Forums that I am a member of - do you want some eURLs?

A certain nosy party had a look at my profile and saw my profession as a pilot, subsequently starting to ask questions about it as well as making shrewd remarks, which had to be addressed - that is not exactly me declaring what I am is it?

And which school did you learn that pilots retire at 45? Let me give you your lesson number one in flying! As long as you are healthy with a good heart and a good eye sight no one will or can stop you from flying - whatever your age is! (just like driving a car but stricter health check ups) For more lessons, you'll have to pay and attend my instruction classes at the weekends!

Who told you I am an active pilot in an air-force?
Only air-force pilots wear overalls?
Have you been to any airshows lately?
Who is trying to convince anyone of anything?
What the fuck are you arguing about?

Like I said before, I am not interested in arguing petty things with silly young men, who persist in making fools of themselves by making such stupid remarks about things they know nothing about - as you just did in your post!

Will you stop embarassing yourself and go argue with someone else please...

I will not spend my time to find your post with "your photo" as a pilot and not of course a pilot of airline but in an airforce.

Of course in organised army airforces pilots retired from flying at 45 yo. Exempt maybe Turkish one where you wait some young guys to learn in Aagean sea.

As for young people you are speaking about I would wish to be such a young guy but unfortunately i am not. Unforetunately for you i have the experienced to deel with persons like you particularly in military aspects

As I said before I am not interested in petty arguments to prove who is wrong and who is right. I would like to see where you got the figure from, for the retirement age of 45. You obviously lack some knowledge in the area and I shall make an exception in trying to explain to you better (because this thread is not about flying but "Solutions to Cyprus problem")

"in organised army airforces pilots" as you like to put it, pilots are contracted for a certain number of years to serve. This can vary from one country to another but on average is probably 10-12 years. The joining age is often between 18-23. Does that mean they retire when 28 or 35? No it does not. What ir means that hey are free to continue on or move on to the more lucrative and financially rewarding area of being a civilian pilot. Others may carry on as instructors.

The reason why there are not many 45-50 year old military pilots serving in the airforces is not because they are not fit to bly but mainly because after so many years of service they move up the hierarchy. The few that remain become high ranking officers, generals etc. by that age, hence they become more desk orientated and are no longer required to carry out the duties of a combat aircraft pilot.

Also I wish you would stop going on about the Turkish pilots learning to fly over the Aegean sea! Having such a big coastline on that sea gives them every right to fly there as anyone else. As for their training, there is no shortage of pilots in Turkish air force, in fact there is more demand for the positions then there are spaces. They are all well trained and often score very high during multinational NATO exercises. I am not so sure why you keep going on about the Aegean sea or their training - what's the problem?

And what do you mean by saying "Unfortunately for you i have the experienced to deal with persons like you particularly in military aspects". How much do you know about me to pass such a judgment? Or refer to me as "person's like you"? Like what?

Let me tell you something, thanks to another GC, I have decided not get into abusive arguments however much provoked. Forget about what you know or what I know but lets just say that this thread is not about pilots and flying, least of all about me or you.

If you really wish to find more about any aspect of flying then ask a question in another thread in the General forum, and I shall answer you in a civilised manner.
