T/Cs were enlisted by the British as auxiliary police. They joined forces with the British whose policy was one of divide and rule. The consequences are well documented.

Of course Cyprus is my motherland and we can only have one motherland, but one can never have enough friends especially when in need.

even gengiz han realised the importance of a man being able to feed his family and did not carry out reprisals on people because they worked for the enemy during or after his struggles. for your kind not to see that killing a particular police man because he may have hanged an eoga member is one thing but to attack all police and all others who worked for the police was stupidity beyond belief.

A British carried out census in 1946 had the number of G/Cs at 361199 ie 80.2% and the T/Cs at 80548 ie 17.9%.

Are you saying to us that the much smaller minority of 17.9%, 9 years later ie 1955, were justified in joining forces with the British against the G/C struggle ?

Again, I reiterate that with hindsight the struggle should have had as its ultlimate goal the liberation of Cyprus and the establishment of a free and democratic state.

The overwhelming number of indigenous Cypriots had every right to struggle against British rule. The T/C minority was wrong to join forces with the then occupiers of our island.

and there is the problem. if the ultimate aim was to liberate and form an independent country, tcs would have joined you in the strugle to liberate cyprus. the fact it it was never a liberation. when you consider the size of the tc population, you had every right to do as you like and so did they. you should have come to an amicable agreement, separate the country into two and allow those who wished to join greece to join your sector. notice how it was done in czechoslovakia, and then there would have been peace. but no, you wanted the whole of the island to join greece and ignored the wishes of tcs and you ended up being shafted by both terggy and greece.

After much research and taking into account the allegiance the person under scrutiny has exhibited for those powers which brought about the destruction of Cyprus, there can be but ONE answer to the question put :- YES.

Miltiades is a traitor to his native land and has become the epitome of a British patriot.
