You keep repeating this. However (as has been pointed out to you before) the 'killings' have a longer history than the 'invasion' (you do know that the UN peace keeping force was in Cyprus 10 years BEFORE 74 dont you?). Are TC soliders in Cyprus 'foreign'? Are GC soliders in Cyprus 'foreign'?

  Thanks for clarifying that to him detailer... amazing how some people make assumptions isn't it. Still, for all my Turkish and TC friends out there, I was happy to be confused for you guys. In response to Red Brigade, no I'm not happy with the status quo, but I'd be equally unhappy rolling back time only to risk repeating it again. In my view any solution in Cyprus has to be a NEW solution, but more importantly, it has to be one that has the full agreement of the peoples' of both sides - not just their political leaders, but society as a whole. Without people buying into a new situation, it is bound to fail.

Of course the killings have longer history than 1974.That is what i said before as well. The best solution would be to restore the status quo as it was before the Imperialistic invasion and before the killings commited to the TC.The foreign forces are the British obviously.

So your solution is restore things ot 1960? Complete with the treaty of Guarantee? Is that not just to restore things to a situation that led to where we are now? What makes you think such a restoration work this time round when it failed before? Do you think TP/GC majority would support such a plan even if it were 'on the table'?

The best and most logical would be everyone to go back to his home , if his home still exists. If it doesn't he will just stay where he is.There wont be any problems if the previous status quo is restored, since non of the sides will earn anything if aggresions start again, they already saw where the first path lead them.If they are such fools that they don't want to restore the previous status quo ,one country united Cyprus no federations, the illegal Turkish civilians who are not part of the 18%TC settlers go back, then they deserve their destiniy.

*Both sides are going to compensate for the dead families and the lost properties.

illegal Turkish civilian?

LOL. What about that illegal cows comes from Turkey. Red brigade did you read any post before? I mean Turks Cypriots want more then you give. and Most logical solution would be solution accepted by both side.

By the way, Guys be quick for a solutlion or some mad Turk and Greeks (main landers) will give decision for you.

Nothing can be decided against the will of the Cypriots. No one has such a right and no one has the power to enforce anything on us, at least as far as GCs are concerned. The only certain good service the “mainland” outsiders can provide, is to pack up one day and live us alone. That primarily goes for Turkey.

Kifeas,

Your claims really sound nice sometimes but you always ignore a point. TC feels insecure with GC without any involvement of Turkey.

I think Red's next step will be to roll back time to before 1571... bring back the Venetians...
