LOL. What about that illegal cows comes from Turkey. Red brigade did you read any post before? I mean Turks Cypriots want more then you give. and Most logical solution would be solution accepted by both side.

By the way, Guys be quick for a solutlion or some mad Turk and Greeks (main landers) will give decision for you.

Nothing can be decided against the will of the Cypriots. No one has such a right and no one has the power to enforce anything on us, at least as far as GCs are concerned. The only certain good service the “mainland” outsiders can provide, is to pack up one day and live us alone. That primarily goes for Turkey.

In fact He is a greek and A turk who want to divide island. Not just a Turk. It looks like you becomes a big problem for both Greece and Turkey.
By the way, Make agreement with Turks Cypriots, Than Turkey will return back. And I am almost sure with this returning most happy people would be soldiers in cyprus.

Your claims really sound nice sometimes but you always ignore a point. TC feels insecure with GC without any involvement of Turkey.

In most likelihood, this insecurity is more mental than real. It is cultivated and maintained by the jingoistic TC elitists, in order to secure the need for a permanent Turkish presence in Cyprus. The majority of ordinary TCs do not feel insecure in the presence of GCs. So many TCs crossing over and entrusting their health to GC doctors and nurses, proves exactly this point. I may agree that some TCs feel intimidated by the behaviour of some GCs. Unfortunately this is true. However, the GCs who keep such attitude are getting less and less. Most GCs treat TCs in a friendly manner, in fact friendlier than they treat each other in some cases. Do you think that GCs are treated more nicely by lets say the average GC policeman in the street or the average civil servant, than TCs?

Have you ever wonder how your feelings of mistrust towards someone, generate subsequent mistrust feelings towards you by this person and in the end, they become a chain of negative feelings of one towards the other, eventually leading the initial fears to become a reality?

are you 100% sure about this point???

So many TCs crossing over and entrusting their health to GC doctors and nurses, proves exactly this point.

I think you have blown this issue out of all proportion, only a small number of TCs come to the south for health care, the ones that do come out of desperation and urgent attention nothing to do with trusting GCs otherwise the majority go to Turkey.

I may agree that some TCs feel intimidated by the behaviour of some GCs. Unfortunately this is true.

you are talking about the majority of TCs.

However, the GCs who keep such attitude are getting less and less.

totally disagree, just weigh up the GCs contribution on this forum, and how we evaluate your viewpoint towards us, do you feel you instill trust in the TCs???

Have you ever wonder how your feelings of mistrust towards someone, generate subsequent mistrust feelings towards you by this person and in the end, they become a chain of negative feelings of one towards the other, eventually leading the initial fears to become a reality?

The mistrust issue is very important, without overcoming this issue our problems are magnified to levels where we cannot overcome them.
Do GCs ever sit down and ask themselves why we have been unable to build bridges and gain the confidence of the TC community??? dont just pass the buck and blame everyone else but yourselves, we are no angels but the more powerful community (enjoying recognition and economic stability etc) is the GCs and if they really wanted a solution they would take those first positive steps towards compromising to bringing to an end this issue once and for all.
I dont feel GCs are genuine for one moment and the mistrust TCs have towards GCs is a reflection of GCs action or in this case non actions and constant feeling of hidden agendas and reducing the TC community into a minority in a GC state, which we aint buying. GCs constantly belittle and run down the TRNC for many reasons but the bottom line is we would rather have the TRNC than live in a GC dominated state where we will be a minority in our own country.

Kifeas,

I think you are confusing two different subjects here.

Trust between two people and trust between two societies are different things.

For example, I personally dont feel unsecure with a greek person (Of course there might be some mutual hesitations at first but after that...). I am sincerely open to any kind  of friendship with greek people.

Generally old TC (over 40) don't have trust for GC(administation). That disproves your mental distrust theory because these people really experienced 63-74.

People working in greek side have to work there. When I asked my friends(engineers) who work there about how they are treated, they generally say "it is ok, but we get less money than GC who do the same thing). That is normal since most GC are employing most of them because they get less money! I am sure there are exceptions but that is the main case.

Again, living together and running the same republic is much more complicated than employing some workers and giving people healthcare.

Imagine a scenario: We found a solution by a uniter cyprus as GC want.
There will be lots of movings...

Ask TC people, how many of them will trust "Cyprus"(It is uniter so main decisions are eventually taken by GC) administration and police will behave in a fair way and protect their rights?
