I don't think so. But I can see the influence from your Greek-sponsored gymnasium education!

You are all like a bunch of factory Wombles!

Us: Greek education for Greek people on a Greek island. You: Foreign education for a foreigner in a foreign land ;)

Absolutely.

We must imidiately rename:

Ttalatturi
Humus
Sheftalia
Airani
Hasichtir.
Peseveng
Kilintziroi
i.e., the ones who did not have bath rooms and toilets in their homes till the late '70s and they were doing their kakka tous in their back yards (call them "Gyftoi" or even better "Turkogyftoi" from now on).

More in my next post.

The toilets were just a hole in a little cabin in the back yard and there were no bath tubs just kazania.

Anyone who is not aware of that wasn’t in Cyprus pre-war.

Btw Kimon,

I don’t have a problem confronting my country’s humble beginnings unlike shallow fools who invent ancestry with foreign fantasies!

You pitiful superficial clown!

are you still making fun of people that didn't have enough money those days and essentially this would mean the majority as they lived in rural areas?....was it their fault?...you think they had the money and didn't want to spend?...but what i see is you are quick off the mark with a disgusting remark of your fellow cypriots...

but look at it from a different angle...cyprus at the time was miles ahead from greece as far as infracture was concerned...come to think of it miles apart today...but anyway little kimie, what name would you give the greeeks that were much more backwards from the cypriot "kilintziroi"...come on mr disgusting lets have it...be a man grow some cojones and when you talk the talk you need to walk the walk...lets have the name you have reserved for the more backward greeks than the cypriot "kilintziroi"...

I believe you. Are you from Agios Dometios? You must be.

Anyone who is not aware of that wasn’t in Cyprus pre-war.

Right! I was with the Mycenaeans who colonised Cyprus after 1975.

P.S. I knew some kilintziroi who had never seen the sea in their lives till the late 60s
Actually, I taught some of them how to swim during my service in the National Guard.

I guess everyone was affected in a different way by the war… some it seems sought solace in manufactured ancestry with foreign mythology!

I’ll bet Kimon walks around wearing a white robe and an olive branch on his head reciting “Media”!

Like I said, the war had profound repercussions on all, some more severe than others!

My last answer to you, filled with my contempt.

My family came to be so deprived of basics for a long period (cause my father chose to follow the instructions of our resistance leaders, Grivas and Makarios and he gave up the dealership of English products in Cyprus) that we had to survive on a slice of bread and a bit of butter on it for weeks. Now, be a good boy and f...k of and lay off my back. Go save the Dingos and the salt water crocks. Will you?
Thank you!
