ZoC...So the joke section is the last place that should have been posted on.

No matter what you think of a particular person or how much you may side with a particular person, if something is wrong it's wrong.

CBBB...

1. I have no Greek realtives called 'William'.
2. He has often spoken about living in London.
3. His older posts.

I've met him!

The problem with Bill’s style of humor is that he relies heavily on funny pronunciations which unfortunately don’t come across in written text.

As for your daft sweeping statement…I’m Cypriot but not Greek, Halil is Cypriot but not Greek, and Kafenes is Cypriot but not Greek, so there goes your theory out the window!

Ok, so he's one from English, Irish (doubtful, as he's not called 'Liam'), Scottish, Welsh, Australian. Even if he's not English, he's definitely not Greek or Greek Cypriot.

So you've met him and you amy be friends. I'm sure he's big enough to respond to something without you having to step in for him. Eloquence and chivalry are not dead, I see.

So from your name I would deduce that you may be Japanese!

Get Real...then he needs to realise there's a place for everything and whilst this may be funny 'down the pub', it's not funny here.

Ok, not all Cypriots are Greek - I was side-tracked by that and it wasn't my main point. Greek Cypriots are Cypriots who are Greek (no matter what someone may feel, that is what they are) and Turk Cypriots are Cypriots who are Turk. Yes, this was only brought about so the Brits could keep a check on each section, but the cultures tie-in with their respective parent countries.

I didn't find it funny either but had I met Bill and heard his voice doing his Cypriot thing... I'm sure it would've been more appealing.

I have to admit to not being PC enough for the Britain that Tony Blair created. When a Negro, a Muslim, an Irishman, or any other non-wasp can make jokes that make jokes that use racial stereotypes, so can I!

I'll even accept the crap that comes from the bloke who's ancestors caused the extinction of the Pygmy Hippos!

CBBB...To be honest, I don't give a crap about political correctness and laugh at a hell of a lot of things - things that others look down their noses at (did you ever see Bernard Manning?) - but when someone comes on here and moans about words being used to describe Muslims (there were a couple of topics yesterday - one since removed), then comes out with stuff like that, I draw the line.

P.S. I'm not a humourless twat.
P.P.S. Nor am I Japanese, although I do have a Jap's eye!
