DVD Shop in Limassol

Postby sneezing7 » Wed Apr 06, 2005 8:47 pm

I know there are MANY DVD rental places in Limassol (I am a member of at least 5), but I thought it was appropriate to give a special mention to the latest one I have found.

Media Masters in the Kirzis Centre (Behind Mark & Spencers), has one of the best collections I have seen. The guy Martin is a champion, and more than willing to help out by suggesting movies and giving advice.

Good range, friendly staff and decent prices means I will be frequenting the store more often!

Just my 2 cents

Gotta say, there was a music shop in Ayia Napa that I was very impressed with. Think its on Nissi Avenue (did I get it right?) just opposite the square...a lot of upfront Cd's from the states nd I saw a oxed D'Angelo collection which I have never seen in the UK.

How much do they charge for movies there?

The place we get our DVDs it is 1 pound for older movies and 1.5 pounds for the new ones.

where are they?

All over the place. If you turn north on Makariou where the Bodyline is and until Spyrou Kyprianou there are 5 DVD stores just on that road. Then there is another one on the Ayios Nikolaos round about. There is one opposite of Intercollege. Then there is Musical Paradise that has 2 stores. There is another one if you turn north from the sea road opposite of Pizza hut...
