The simple starting 'protection' from misinformation as to what is a 'covid-19 death' is to just look at total deaths in a period of time when corona virus is around with averages from when it was not. Like any 'immunisation' this is not complete protection but it is the best place to start imo. You can argue endlessly, through scales and other ways, as to what was the 'cause' of someones death. Pretty much no argument to be had on if they are dead or not.

I probably smoke around 30-40 cigs a day. As for alcohol, I used to drink a lot of scotch but I cut back in the last 2-3 years when I stopped going out with friends a lot.
