The delegation will have contacts at the House of Lords and the House of Commons during its week-long visit to the country.

Members of the delegation will also meet representatives of local officials and Turkish Cypriot NGOs based in London.

The delegation will return to the Republic on Sunday at the end of its contacts in Britain

No doubt the delegation will press the UK Government for concessions , direct trade , flights , recognition etc etc. What an utter waste of time and money , Britain for all its faults and blunders when it comes to bloody foreigners taking the piss , is still a nation that abides by international protocols and legislature and will never endorse the pseudo state . The efforts are indeed a new campaign by Turkey to legalise her illegal occupation of a part of Cyprus.

And sod the past hey Miltiades. You use your ill gotten gains in the EU to its fullest extent and we will use the 37% of the land we acquired.

You acquired sweet fa mate because the International community classifies that 37% as a part of Cyprus under Turkish occupation. Not T/C note but Turkish occupation , an army of invaders who are slowly and surely turning this part of Cyprus into a Turkish province , AND IN THE PROCESS MAKING SURE THE T/CS BECOME EXTINCT.

I think we did acquire it Miltiades just as you acquired 63% from the real Cypriots and are now trying to sell us the illegal state.

I can write 100 more names if you like, but the way you made your "Phew" as if to say, that you do not have a Cypriot name at all.

I'll write some "Cypriot Turk" names next time. Perhaps you would feel more comfortable.

Don't worry mate, my name is very Cypriot and of course Turkish and that is why when Bir and you are there with the EOKA C boys kicking out all those Turks that you think are settlers I might have a hard time convincing you who I am. Mind you, on second thoughts being deported to Turkey might be better than what you might have planned for me if you knew who I was.

By the way when you have put all those people on a boat and ticked off all their names, If someone says to you two to go on board and count them again, don't fall for that old trick. Although I hear Turkey is wonderful this time of year tthe reseption party there might not be to your liking....

Zan please believe me when I say this, but I'm not always in a argumental mood. I actually never argue with people, only with those who says things that just does not sit well with reality, and your post above is the prime example. You used this expression on me once and it is time to return the favour " Annadiysam Arab Olayim". What on Earth are you talking about. If English was your 4th language, than I may excuse what you wrote. It has no meaning at all.

Please explain.

1. Who are EOKA C Boys.?

2. Who is kicking Turks out which we think are Settlers.?

3. Who is being deported to Turkey.?

4. What plans do we have for you.?

5. What trick is it that you're talking about, regarding the name count of people on a boat.?

6. What reception party in Turkey are you on about.?

Please help me understand Zan, please.

My Turkish is not that good but yours seems to be worse. Its "Anladiysam Arab olayim"!!!!!!

The rest you will have to read again knowing that it is a mixture of reality and fiction and not meant to be taken too seriously, although..... There is an underlying theme. You may not want to argue but it will be excerise for your brain. Come on....Take it in the manner in which it was written.    Cryptic is my middle name......Is that a Cypriot name???

BRITISH MP’S PROMISE TO TAKE INITIATIVE FOR THE REMOVAL OF ISOLATIONS.
The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Fatma Ekenoglu has said that the British MP’s have promised to take initiative for the removal of the international isolations of the Turkish Cypriot People.

The TRNC parliamentary delegation headed by the Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Fatma Ekenoglu which has been holding a week long of contacts in London is returning to the Republic last night.
Speaking earlier to the BRT newsroom following a meeting with British Labor MPs, Mrs Ekenolgu said that the Labor Party MP’s were informed on the latest developments on the Cyprus issue and were asked to put pressure on the Papadopulos administration which does not want a solution to start the negotiations process.

Stating that the delegation has expressed the importance of the Direct Trade Regulation, Mrs Ekenolgu expressed the belief that the Greek Cypriot Leader Tasos Papadopulos will come to the negotiations table in case of the removal of the international isolations and start of direct flights.

Noting that the Greek Cypriot Side’s unilateral membership to the European Union has made the efforts towards a solution to the Cyprus problem more difficult, the Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly said British MP’s have promised to make efforts towards the implementation of the Direct Trade Regulation.

She also stressed that the MP’s will make contacts with European socialist groupings and put the issue into the British Parliament’s agenda to help overcome the preventions on Direct Trade, foreign contacts, sports and education.

So, being intelligent men, and know a good deal when they see one they will immediately, on their return get on to Pap Doc and say:

"The situation on the island of Cyprus is stupid. Why don't we jointly apply to the British Government to repatriate all of us from Cyprus to north London, both our natural homelands now. After all their are more Cypriots of both flavours in the UK than their are in Cyprus.

We turn the island into an EU province and recruit the necessary people, from the EU with the customer skills and professional occupations to run the necessities and then offer the island as a purely holiday and retirement location."
