A new approach to Cyprus problem... The Faroe Islands model

For people who don't know them the Faroe Islands are located between UK and Iceland.

Although they are part to Denmark, they have a great degree of local autonomy.

I believe it's time to see the Cyprus problem under a different perspective since the BBF solution is something that nobody wants...

You didn't understand my point... Roc is whole again ... only this time a part of the north is an autonomous territory named"the RocTc" with it's own parliament etc ...

And what would stop the "RoCTc" to became "TRNC"?

Any "BBF" like Annan plan or what you prose would either be partition, or would lead to partition. So if we would accept such thing it would mean that we accept partition, and in that case the most important thing would be land distribution.

Land distribution is the most important thing in any solution based on biregionality and one thing that totally baffles me is the lax approach of GC politicians to the issue. None of them seem to consider the territorial aspect important, they are always harping on about guarantees and such. Maybe they know something the rest of us do not know.
