A team of eminent judges [specializing in the field of martial law] were invited to discuss the question of whether or not Miltiades is a traitor to his country, the evidence was presented in the same form as written by members of this forum.
During the process of their discussion, it was recommended that ALL matters relating to verbal exchanges twixt ALL participating members of this forum should be disregarded since they did not contain definitive proof of contention.
It was decided that ONLY matters of ACTION should be considered in reaching a verdict and that the ONLY person that has performed any such ACTION is in fact, the very person who has created this Poll.
After much deliberation, the Judges unanimously agreed that [as a result of the length of time spent by the enquirer in the company of his country's enemies] the verdict MUST be that he IS a traitor to his birth country and, at the very minimum, be regarded forthwith as a citizen of the country he took refuge [and residence ] in and is in fact first and foremost a British Subject.
His Citizenship confirmed by his status as "One who is entitled to the State Pension" as a fully qualified contributor.
It was noted that :- Had the Poll been proposed in a less rigid form, some consideration may have been given to the youthful age of the proposer [at the time of his ACTION], however, it was unanimously agreed that the objective of the Poll, by it's very nature, could be interpreted as an attempt to cover up some misdemeanor by the proposer [at his present age] and the verdict must stand.
