in annan plan 5 the g/c returning to the land given under g/c admin would be about 75-90,000.what would be some more land adjustments(minimal as posible)that would bring greater g/c under g/c admin.with minimal land conscesions for the t/c.and after that would the t/c accept the remainig g/c into the t/c cmponent state after being reduced through land concesions.

This is one man's opinon of course.

In my opinion if the purpose of bicommunality has to violate either the right of voting or the right of return and regain property, then obviously we have to chose for the least painful deprivation. And that is without doubt the right of voting.
In either case the TCcs must not be greater than 18% otherwise the partitionists among the TCs will lead their cs to partition with all the benefits of the excess territory.

It is not the amount of GCs that are turning to TC state that bothers many TCs like me. For me I do not even care if there are more than 200k living in TC state.

What bothers many TCs is what they can do with TC citizenship. If their participation to federal decision making (not state) can be limited to GC state, then there would be no problem in accepting even 200k GC in TC state.

Turkcyp,
I have a question for you.
Assume this scenario to be taking place after a solution, which is based on A-plan 5, (as it was drafted.)

Since we are an E.U. member country, what will we do if some of the British and other E.U. nationals who have been residents in Cyprus for a number of years (I think more than 6 years) and they fulfil the requirements, apply of a Cypriot citizenship? Under E.U. aqui, we are required to grand such citizenship, should the necessary requirements are met.

Will we give them Cypriot citizenship, or not?

I do not know the details of EU Acquis about granting citizenship to others, and also I do not remember the details in Annan Plan in garnting citizenship to third parties.

But from that question with my limited knowledge, I assume so. Yes.

That means then that as Cypriot citizens they will have all political rights as well.

How will they be assigned to elect / be elected in the Senate?

Again I do not know what the details on that would be. But I assume that they will be assigned to one of the communities as they did in 1960 constituion.

There has to be some way of defining how each naturalized person will be assigned to each community. I always assumed that the procedure would be similar to 1960 constituion.

The plan says that those of greek ethnic origin and/or greek maternal language belong to the GC community and those of turkish ethnic origin and /or maternal language belong to the TC community.
Unfortunately for some, it does not require a DNA test.
Where will the english, german , french, etc, going to be listed?

I have also asked this questino Kifeas in a previous post. My exact question though was:

If I change my name to a non-Greek name and pretend not to know Greek, after living in Cyprus for a certain number of years can I attain residency of the TC community/state?
