I would like to think it could become a regular event running year round, but I believe in crawling before trying to walk or run. The first stage would be to see if we can get some GC and TC working togeater, once on this one sepcific cemetary. If we can acheive this then we can go for a simialar one of event in the south. If that works then sure why not a '2nd sunday of every month' is come and clean up a cemetary day.

I think financing would couase more problems than it solves at this stage. I have some gardening tools. I have a car. I am happy to use both at my own expense for a couple of hours to help tidy up the cemetary and am pretty sure others would be too. The cemetary that sparked my idea off has more than enough work that can be done without the need for any funding right now. Maybe later funding might become appropriate and necessary but at this stage I think not. On a similar vien I would not like to seek any 'press coverage' for this. This is not a stunt as far as I am concerned. Its about ordianary people doing something collaboratively that should be done.
