The fact that we share a gene pool obviously cannot provide a solution to the Cyp Prob but it does make hatred between TC or GC illogical. We have more in common than with either so called Motherlands and its about time we considered ourselves Cypriots first and Turkish or Greek second

I find much more pride in calling myself cypriot than anything else.... passionate about life with strong family bonds (like all mediteraneans), hard working and feeling secure enough to self-sarcasm themselves

We share a gene pool with all the Human race.

We are not unique in any way as "groups", only as individuals.

As for hatred between TCs and GCs being illogical ... it's also illogical to have a small minority who steal homes from the vast majority, subjugate and abuse their Human Rights based purely on the racist ideology (represented in this thread) by the likes of londoner, BirKibrisli, YFred and fmnw.

Londoner, can you quit racist generalizations and provide some evidence for supporting eugenics ....

Being Cypriot is a Nationality. Recognised first and foremost by allegiance to the RoC. You have NONE!

Being Cypriot has nothing to do with degrees of "genetic" similarities/dissimilarities to any other racial groups you care to discriminate against.

Oracle you accuse individuals of racism without any evidence and keep looking at history as beginning in 1974. It is the xenophobes and racists in EOKA, EOKA B and TMT which have created the situation which led to the current division. Have I hit a racist nerve in suggesting you may have some Turkish heritage?
