I think the plan is the final nail in the coffin. The GCs will not accept such a plan.

No point discussing any further, as there is nothing to discuss!

I've got comments (even if the ayatollah charlie of this forum thinks I am disallowed from commenting!)

Turkish Cypriot representative Kudret Ozersay was quoted saying the Limnitis crossing would be officially opened on October 14, with EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule in attendance.

Good!

The proposal, for which the Turkish side cannot take full credit, given the impetus of UN experts in the talks...

Very telling.

This proposal also works on the assumption that Turkish Cypriots will not seek to return to their homes in villages and towns in Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos.

What about those that already have? I know 3 TCs who have returned in the past year to the properties they were born in in Larnaca old town here.

That is a terrible response to someone who has never (I assume) felt the necessity to use such language. Obviously you had no answer to Gasmans response so you replied in such fashion. I refer you to 'obituary' thread.

I do not want people to be very agreeable, as it saves me the trouble of liking them.
[Jane Austen]

It's no more than and exactly what I have come to expect on this forum.

We are losing patience with the daft responses on this forum for what is a very serious topic that effects the lives of many thousands poor refugees!

You tell me where the substance was Deniz, because if there was any, my response would've been very different! There is only so much shit we can take. There are limits!

We are losing patience

Really? When did you 'start losing patience'?

I ask because I've repeatedly been told to 'fuck off' and called a stupid retard etc. since the day I started posting! Choose any thread at random to see the stalwarts obsessed with rectums and what goes up them, and insulting mothers, sisters and wives. I've never seen one single whole thread devoted to rational debate about the Cyprob (or almost any other subject).

Some posters seem to come out in a rash if anyone other than their handful of 'cronies' post to say anything at all. I posted a jokey piccie of my puppy a while back in the general chat forum. It had Lady O there at the speed of light spouting abuse and hurling personal insults!

It does bring to mind the phrase 'from mules to mercedes in one generation'.

However, I feel that there is definitely a need for a great deal of 'final polishing' to be applied before the transformation is complete.

Modern Europeans? I think not. Ref - the thread about the ambelopoulia.
