In Praise of the Dead

...so that these people at least receive the respect they deserve, not as "Greeks", or "Turks", as their murderers would have called them, but as they lived and as they died: Cypriots.
My intention with opening this topic is to give a voice to all those we should not forget, so that we can demonstrate that we do not forget. They paid the ultimate price, they were robbed of their lives.
I warmly recommend that we take the time to fill this topic, with posts toward their Honour, and against the Ignorance that uses their memory to divide us, hundreds of posts i imagine, of the thousands who died, and the thousand(s) that are missing; for many reasons, i think, a valuable enterprise toward Justice, seen.
...I am sure that we are able; their stories are already scattered all over this site, (and the internet).
They deserve more than this, i think we can all agree.
