I see you couldn't resist.

That is an indication of your character, not mine.

My views are reasonable, and I am entitled to them. My views are also quite mainstream and well considered. And I don't need to justify myself to anyone, let alone a Malaka! You live in your little Cypriot coccoon, but Pootin's name is like mud throughout the EU and Western World, whereas we are a lot more happier with Trump because the US has checks and balances throughout its bureaucracy. No one likes Pootin and for good reason. he is one of the most vile and vicious world leaders on the planet.

I like Trump, many people criticize him and even hate him, but give us Trump any day over Pootin. We pick Trump.

No one in their right mind will pick Pootin over Trump.

One more thing.

As we beat ISIL in Syria, the Coalition and its allies are now a major stakeholder in Syria. We own and/or occupy (call it what you want) at least 30% of Syria, if not more.

As such, since Assad is our enemy and since we have not signed a peace treaty with anyone, we simply can't leave and hand over this land to an enemy like Assad. See where I am going with this?

Why would the Coalition leave? Do you actually think that is a smart thing to do? Do you see now that there is no way out of this calamity. This is what we didn't want to do to begin with. The Coalition did not want to enter into the Syrian War but in the end it just became unavoidable as ISIL's provocations were attracting so much international outrage and everyone abroad and home was expecting a International Coalition Force to do something.

Now our worse fears are realized. We are stuck in Syria and can't leave unless there is a major change. We have out own client within Syria as well.

And this doesn't suit Pootin either. But there is nothing he can do about it.

So where to now?

I'm not obessed old fart. he is more obsessed with the US and its allies and the EU.

Malaka is you title and you have earned it very well with all your polls and your sick and vitriolic behaviour. you should be ashamed of yourself.

Yes people die in war. I never said any war was a good thing let alone a war involving Cyprus. Let's get back to the issue at hand. You are dismissive about the CNG's ability to defeat Turkey. I will remind you that should a war erupt between Turkey and the CNG, the outcome will be a total lottery and quite possibly end in as a victory to the CNG and a loss for the Turkish Military in Cyprus. Even the best of Turkey's Officers know this, which is reason hy they are not stupid enough to do anything that violates the ceasefire. in fact, the Turks were smart enough not to take the entire island in 1974. They would have lost the war by now if they did that but you are too stupid to understand the fact that it is very hard to occupy a country with a hostile population.

You got no clue. but yes, thousands of people will die in all likelihood. Mostly civilians, not soldiers. Cypriots will have to one day decide whether the price is worth it. it's a very bitter pill. It's real bad.

But so is a Turkified Cyprus. If you are still able to love Cyprus in that State, then you are a Turk. It's not for me.

Buit what is 100% certain is this. Don't expect anyone to care if Cyprus is not willing to do anything. no one is going to help. If you enter into what I call Surrender Talks, then they will just say that if that is good enough for you then they will support it.

Yes it can defeat Turkey in Cyprus old fart. That is completely reasonable. But it isn't a foregone conclusion that it will defeat the Turks. Anything is possible, and it is a massive gamble to say the least for Cyprus but also for Turkey too. The Turks know very well they got a lot more to lose.

It can't invade Turkey and expect to win, but yes, the CNG can cause a great deal of havoc in its own backyard against turkey.

It makes no difference how big the Turkish Military is. The CNG will only come face to face with 60,000 thousand Turkish troops. The CNG numbers some 95,000 troops when mobilized.

It depends on which views. Some are reasonable, a lot of them are not.

Fighter planes are not as big a factor as you seem to think. They can't for instance completely disable the CNG. The biggest thing their planes will achieve is terrorize the population and destroy vital infrastructure such as roads, airports, power grid, hospitals and so on. They can disable the country but not the CNG. The CNG will also have its Air Defence.

They can't win the war for the Turkish Military. And any use of F-16s to bomb Cypriot civilians would cause international outrage. the USA will not be pleased about it. In fact, it is illegal use of their weapons. The Americans have clauses within their contracts that things like F-16s and F-35s are not be used against a friendly nation (like Cyprus). The Americans will introduce Arms Sanctions against Turkey because using US Weapons against an EU country is not a good look for them.

You know, if there was a war in Cyprus, it isn't very easy for turkey to use its American weapons. The Americans would be outraged in this day and age. F-16s against a European ally. I don't think so.
