In that case Cypriot nationalism is not for you because Turkey is Cyprus' #1 enemy so siding with the PKK is/was natural.

The RoC was one of the sources that funded the PKK during the 90s, a time when Cypriot agents would make their way into SE Turkey via Syria to supply and train PKK fighters.

If that’s all too much for you to stomach then you can never be a Cypriot nationalist because hating Turkey is one of the prerequisites.

Your completely wrong abi. No self-respecting Cypriot patriot would ever side himself/herself with blood thirsty cave dwellers like the PKK. I am not powered by negative emotions such as hatred and lust, I am powered by Positive emotions such as love and truth.

...something from today's paper.

...and from the Canadians i have met who are Kurdish, they came for refuge. In the nineties what struck me was how many carried a photo of this man as their Hero, they would show it to me, someone they hoped would save them from the horrible subjugation they are till today suffering, from a Turkish government bound to intstitutionalising this Hatred to "others", as "Turks" or not "Turks".

The PKK have a dark side, and in ending their ceasefire, they stoked the escalation Erdogan was seeking; they are not blameless politically speaking.

Correction… no self-respecting Cypriot nationalist would ever fail to side with ANYONE who is against Turkey.

So you may want to have a rethink about your version of “Cypriot nationalism” which can’t even get the enemy right.

Do you recognize this man? You should... and the guy in the poster is a Cypriot agent.

I have no idea what your point is or EOKA’s relevance to the PKK issue.

Anyway, I think you’re too young for all this…

Over and out.

Well said kid. Juts so that you know, these people are blinded by their hatred of anything Turkish so love and truth are emotions they know nothing of. Another thing you should know about this race is their ability to lie and distort facts. Some say Greeks are great liars. Spectacular liars. Having spent a good many years on CF I agree, they are the greatest liars and bullshitter on the fucking planet.

Yes of course we are allies!

The Kurds are our good friends - Peshmerga, YPG, YPK, PKK we are all brothers and sisters. :D
