Things are much better now than they used to be during communism. There was not much violance in Bulgaria but you are right about the forced assimilation campaign. The regime attempted to change our names in order to assimilate us, but in fact failed miserably, the campaign sparked stronger nationalim amongst the turks.

I think those who are guilty should be punished, wether they are Turk or Greek it shouldnt be solely pinned on Turks bro thats my opinion because as much as Greeks feel angered they must realise so do the Turks.

Comprimise is whats essential, I believe Turkish Cyprus and Greek Cyprus should be accepted as two states as its the logical step to take, those who have suffered be compensated in the courts, that Greek and Turkish Cyprus normalises relations, engages in diplomacy and trade relations as most neighbour states well not most but alot seem capable of doing.

I do not agree with you here, I believe the TRNC should amend its laws to allow GCs who accepts its authorithy to move to the North and reclaim their properties.
In any case the TRNC will not be able to get away with the properties in the North, GCs have a very strong case in the ECHRs.

maybe I am not the most moderate member of this forum but believe in Turkish I am much more moderate, and I have tried to put forward some of the GC views that I encounter in this forum. This is among the responses I got:
