Flag Day, is it a good idea?

Let's remember Wednesday, June 17, 2015. It was the day we all, as Cypriots, won the right to fly our Flag, even in the occupied territories.

...with our country even more divided by the economic hardship Turkey's failures impose on Turkish Cypriots in particular, it is a good time to share with them the values we cherish most as Greeks, but more importantly as Citizens of the world, reason. We can collectively demonstrate the same commitment to the Universal Principles it represents, this flag; simply by seeking each other out. Like Koray Basdogrultmaci and Cinel Senem Husseyin, we may dare, we may seek to do the obvious, by proudly flying this flag in shops across Cyprus, like them, to express this solidarity in our Flag's values. And as a People, the people, with commerce and social-exchange demonstrating this commitment to each other; not to "Greekness" and not to "Turkishness".

...it would be nice if for one day at least a year, the notion of seeing this flag flying means something to Cypriots proud of this origin, that's special.

...it would be a revolution if we could do more in our daily lives as Cypriots for Cyprus, (under this Flag an enosis) between us.
