I posted about a week ago that I met a TC and he wishes, like alot of his friends and relatives, that the Turks go back to Turkey and outside parties stop interfering with the politics of Cyprus. He says he is Cypriot not TC. I say I am Cypriot not GC or English GC. I'm Cypriot when asked outright. I don't think I would put it as elloquently as lysi. The name "TRNC" is a contradiction in terms for TCs.

lysi,as i see it they not the only army that's there, to start with they had stoped you stealing our lives ,land's, and homes.What the hell were those now abounden tank's doing outside my father's house playing tiddle wink's i dont think so there's no greek home's in lourogina. So that was a long time ago their not going back there neither am i it's a shame but that how it is. Yes it's going to take some doing to make sense out of this maddness but you aint going to do by being too one sided

twinkle, it appears to be the most obivous and right way to look at it after all we share a common land,but i'm in favour of the fact that were not kill'in one another anymore, so if we can live together side by side in peace what's wrong with that

Jojomojo...I think you will also find many TC returning to Cyprus since the green line opened. What does that tell you?

They are returning but what are you trying to get at.

mojojomo, the t/cypriots are returning to cyprus to get there free healthcare, education and cyprus passports from the legal government of cyprus in the free areas, the turks want to occupy our land and at the same time come to work in the south and benefit from the free services offered in the south.

Lysi - The TC who are entitled to the same rights as GC are CYPRIOTSand not Turks from mainland Turkey. They should not all be tarred with the same brush. There are strict requirements that they must meet to prove that they are entitled to Cypriot citizenship and the rights of every other Cypriot. If we were to stop allowing them the same rights as the GC then we would be no better than the so called "government" of the north. You know, the ones that won't allow the GC their basic human rights.

It is frustrating but unfortunately it's not tit for tat!!!!

lysi i ll have to tell you once again that you are full with stereotypes and you should start getting to know some tcs to get over them.
if tcs return this has nothing to do with their rights in the south.
you make them all sound as being opportunistic.
take a brake.
they are people like us.
and for the thousand time : not only we should give health care to tcs bc they are citizens of the RoC, but bc it is the human thing to do. and with human things , human beings do not demand gratitude in return.

They are returning but what are you trying to get at.

That many TC left Cyprus because they couldnt bare living with the Turkish settlers.

Ok cypezokyli, but why do the turks still occupy greek cypriot land ? the turks will not even hand back varosha or even 1 field, they are making too much money from exploiting greek land , casinos and heroin from mainland turkey, not forgetting the hookers aswell.
They are greedy and will not want to give back what they have stolen.
