That is my view.

Re-unite cyprus including those Asian Muslim settlers. The new state legalizes drugs, offers cheap booze and we turn cyprus to something like a massive Ibiza during the ramadan and other muslim fiests. Boys kiss each other on public places, we are making the world lesbian contests and here we go....................Muslims are in despair and they go back in Turkey or to live with their good friends and relates in Aghanistan, Azerbaistan and other third world banaba republics ending in -stan.

What about these poor souls and the likes in the Cypriot Orthodox community:

How will they react to gays kissing and lesbians making out on the street or in front of the church?

Surely they will not execute them like they do in Islam. Muslims love children, thats for sure = http://www.faithfreedom.org/Gallery/16.htm

"Homosexuality in Islam is punishable by death but pederasty is permissible. Quran 52:24" I am sure that Mohhamend and his 4 years old wife had the time of their life!

Who gives a shit for the orthodox mullahs?

There are Turkish Cypriots who are gay and they are a part of our community. Your proposed solution would probably drive more Chrisians out of Cyprus then Turkish Cypriots. You have no knowledge about what you are talking about but you have a strong opinion. This is the most dangerous thing in the world.

lol , as if the press was waiting for grliberals "solution"
a research from cyprus college has shown that 54% of gc considers homosexuality as always wrong and another 26% as most of the times wrong
86% would have a problem if their kid has a gay friend
in general teachers docotrs relatives (lol) and friends shouldnt be gays according to the gc society

i guess if we accept your idea gr"liberal" the gcs are the ones leaving the island first

what the research didnot ask was : how many times did you beat up / or would you beat up a person that you knew he was gay ? ..... i can assure you the results would be shocking

We have long way to go to reach the EU standards on homosexuality ! As long as the church is there influencing society things can not get better!

Dear All-This may sound like a silly questsion but would you say that GC's in general are more religious than TC's who never struck me as being particularly religious. I would be interested in your comments
Thanks.

Maybe. I believe most Muslims that feel European are not very religious.

Maybe they feel that being more Muslim would make them less European since Europe is predominantly Christian.
